Welcome to Funky Family Foods!

Funky Family Foods is all about foods our family would make that was funky.  By "funky" we mean different, unusual, unique or unconventional.  I never knew anyone that ate a peanut butter with marshmallow creme sandwich until I saw it on the Food Channel!  There was even a name for it:  a flutternutter!  My family also loves mashed potatoes with cottage cheese.  My mom raised us eating rice in a savory way with butter, salt and pepper but her sister raised her family eating rice sweet with milk and sugar.  It was then that I began to realize every family has their own funky family food!  I began to wonder what other funky foods other families enjoy?  

Let's introduce ourselves!  My name is Tammy and my sisters and I live in Oklahoma.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, foodie and animal lover.  My sister Rachel is a biker babe and quite the entrepreneur.  My other sister, Jennifer, works in a popular local retail company.  Her and her husband are all about cars and antiques.   We are three sisters with a passion for food and a love of the odd, unique and funky!  We have an opinion on everything, don't always agree and are willing to try pretty much anything. Together we are F3 and we want to hear all about your funky family food!
